Our Mission
The SMGA Georgia Chapter provides therapeutic golf instruction, adaptive play opportunities, and critical life resources to post-9/11 combat-wounded veterans and their families. In 2026, we’re extending our reach to include youth mentorship, family reintegration experiences, and job readiness coaching for transitioning service members.
Serving post-9/11 Veterans and Future Generations
In 2026, we aim to raise $65,000 to expand veteran wellness, suicide prevention, youth inclusion, and workforce readiness for our Georgia-based heroes.
Our 2026 Fundraising Goals
Our goal is to serve 30 combat-injured veterans and expand to 3 new Georgia regions. Your donation supports:
- Veteran mental health & suicide prevention programs
- Physical rehab through adaptive golf clinics
- Youth inclusion & family golf play days
- Career transition workshops for veterans
- Veteran-veteran mentorship & peer networks
Private Clubs & GSGA Golf Partners: Step Forward
We’re calling on Georgia’s premier golf courses and the Veterans Administration to host clinics, socials, and family days in partnership with SMGA-GA and the GSGA Adaptive Golf Program. Your members will create healing and hope for veterans while raising vital funds.
