SMGA Georgia is a firm believer in the restorative power of golf and is committed to offering it to our post-9/11 combat-wounded and injured veterans.
Your donation can make a real difference in the lives of those we serve. With your help, we can continue to provide vital services and support to those in need. Every little bit helps, so please consider making a donation today.
Service members or veterans of the US Armed Forces wounded or injured (incl. PTSD and TBI) while conducting overseas contingency operations in post-9/11/2001 are eligible to become members after successfully completing an SMGA Clinic Series or The American Golfer Program.
The SMGA's plan is straightforward: create an environment for participation, recreation, interaction, and enjoyment that nurtures a genuine appreciation for golf and cultivates enduring friendships beyond rehabilitation and the golf course. The SMGA program stands out by integrating golf into the mental and physical rehabilitation of Post 9-11 injured Veterans. Golf, unlike other sports, offers a platform where players of different abilities can engage, network, and socialize during play..
Feel free to give us a call as well at 781.640.7005, we would be glad to talk with you about our programs and donation opportunities1
